Enjoy a summer of fun in the heart of the New Forest as the first-ever Alice Adventure gets under way from May to December.

The festival promises fun for the young and the young-at-heart with a programme based on Lewis Carroll’s well-loved tale of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

The Alice Adventure 2009 is sure to delight all visitors to picturesque Lyndhurst where events ranging from walks, talks, parties and exhibitions, sports and shows will be held.

The inspiration for the storybook character Alice was little Alice Liddell, who later became a celebrated Lyndhurst figure as Alice Hargreaves. Local residents and businesses are keen to promote the community spirit she held so dear while raising funds for local youth projects.

So make a date with Alice, the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit – and don’t be late for an adventure of your own.
